Mercy Van Desosa

Mercy holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Wollongong. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Mercy has been admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Canada. She joined the Ashley White Law Firm team in 2017 as a Law Clerk and is now a solicitor in the Family Law Division. Mercy began working in the area of Family Law in 2015 and is passionate about supporting her clients in what can often be the most challenging time in their life. She has a particular interest in complex parenting matters, and has experience in managing matters involving family violence and substance abuse. She also practices in the areas of Succession Law and Commercial Litigation and has experience in general practice.

Having moved to the South Coast region in 2010, Mercy is passionate about the Shoalhaven and Illawarra regions and has a strong passion for local business and community.
